Creemore Arts Fest

A Special Place for Bohemian in Blue

One of the highlights of the weekend was being at The Newsstand in Creemore. It was lovely to see how naturally Bohemian in Blue fit into the atmosphere of the store. With its mix of stationery, local stories, games, puzzles, and all kinds of interesting and beautiful finds, there was a wonderful sense of curiosity and discovery. The botanical shapes, blues, scarves, prints, and handmade pieces of my collection felt right at home among all these little treasures. It was such a lovely setting to have my work during the festival.

I really enjoyed being the artist on location at The Newsstand. It gave me the chance to meet so many wonderful people, talk about cyanotype, and share the story behind my work.

A big thank you to Sara and Charlotte for making me feel so welcome. Sara was so generous in inviting me to be part of the weekend, and Charlotte was wonderful throughout the day. They both made the experience feel easy, warm, and special.

And I’m happy to share that a little piece of Bohemian in Blue will be staying at The Newsstand. My handmade cyanotype cards and glass paperweights will be available in the store, ready to find their way into new homes.

Bohemian in Blue at The Newsstand in Creemore

It was wonderful to be there in person with my Bohemian in Blue collection, surrounded by the scarves, prints, cards, and paperweights I’ve created by hand. I enjoyed meeting visitors, talking about cyanotype, and seeing people connect with the work and take a little piece of blue home with them.
