Patricia Vega is a Canadian fine artist and contemporary printmaker based in Mansfield, Ontario. Her practice explores cyanotype, printmaking and mixed media, inspired by nature, botanical forms and the relationship between art and science. Her current Bohemian in Blue collection transforms paper, silk fabric and glass through the distinctive Prussian blue of the cyanotype process.
I’m honoured to be featured in the Dufferin Arts Council Newsletter, Artist Spotlight, Spring 2026.

Coastal Experiments:
Exploring Seaweed and Algae Through Cyanotype.
TRAVEL
During my travels through the Maritimes, I became fascinated by the shapes, textures, and delicate structures of seaweed and algae along the coast. Their organic forms and unexpected patterns inspired me to experiment with cyanotype, translating these fleeting encounters with the ocean into blue impressions on paper.
